Missions
| Our two main goals here at LBC is to fulfill God's Great Commandment( by loving others ( Matthew 22:37-39), and His Great Commission by telling others about His Son, Jesus Christ. ( Matthew 28:19-20) Even though we are missionary-planted church, we are also a missions- minded church, believing that we are responsible to tell as many men, women and children about the Lord as we can. Below are ways in which are members carry out God's Great Commission. |
| "Non-Local" Missions Our church currently supports, prays for and encourages 3 young men, (saved and discipled at LBC), who have surrendered to go into other areas and evangelize the lost and start new churches. We are working side by side with these Bible School-trained men in our next church plant in another barangay. |
| "Local" Missions You don't have to go far to find a mission field here in our area. While we are supporting new work in other areas, we are very much busy right here in Bolosan, Dagupan City. Here at Lighthouse, we want to always be on fire for reaching the lost with the Glorious News that has changed our lives and given us a new hope! |
| Weekly Soul Winning/ Visitation Outreach Throughout the week, our folks head out on foot, bicycles and motorcycles to tell others how they too can know Jesus as their Savior. We have periodic times where we hand out Blue Bibles ( pictured on the left) along with the Gospel Tracts and Invitations. |
| Children's Outreaches We realize that children are the next generation and we want to win them early so that their lives can count for Christ. We have many talented teachers in our church who creatively lead our children's ministry, and want to use their talents to lead the little ones to the Lord. |
