Binago ng Panginoon ang aking buhay at sa pagattend sa church na ito, dito ako nag-grow bilang Christian. Biyaya para sa akin ang church na ito unti-unti akong binago ng Panginoon at masaya ako nagseserve sa Kanya bilang isa sa mga Sunday School Teacher at full time Bible College student. |

Indeed, God is a merciful God because He saved me from the horrible pit of hell. Now, I am one of His child. I am so grateful that God is kind that while we were yet a sinner, He loves us. I cant say that being a Christian means that we are always on "bed of roses". Trials, disappointments and also sadness will come our way but God is always faithful to be there in our side. All we have to do is claim all His promises. God has entrusted me some ministry like teaching young ones ( former Primary Teacher but now Junior Class Teacher) of His Word, also being part of the Melodies of Praise ( singing group of LBC). Through His help, I am able to do it! To my Pastor, Ptr Ferdinand Basto, Thank you for giving your life into the ministry, I pray that God will continue to bless you and your family and through you, many people will hear the word of salvation." |
| Ako si Javes at masaya ako dahil ako ang isa na ginagamit ng Panginoon at dahil sa ipinagkaloob Niya hindi nga madali ang lahat madaming pagsubok sa buhay peron sa biyaya ng Panginoon uniti-unti ko namang itong nalalagpasaan at tulong yon sa akin upang lalo pang tumatag ang aking pananampalataya sa kanya. Malaki talagaang pasasalamat ko sa Panginoon at sa church na ito dahil nagliwanag ang buhay ko na nakilalako ang Diyos at binigyan Niya patayo ng buhay na walang hanggang.Wala na ngang makakahigit pa sa Diyos. Its a blessing! Masaya pa ako dahil nakilala ko ang tunay na Dioys, masaya ako dahil naglilingkod ako sa Kanya, masaya akoy minahal Niya tayo na kahit na magkasala tayo, it's a big big blessing. God is So Good, talaga! |
| I remember my father tried very hard to bring all of us to church. This was when I was still in high school. My father never lost hope that one day all of my siblings, including myself, would also embrace his faith in Christ. During my second year of high school, I received Jesus into my life as my personal Lord and Savior. I became involved in ministries of the church which helped in my spiritual growth. However, as a working student in college, I got busy and little by little, I neglected attending church. Slowly, I became farther and farther from the Lord, which resulted in wrong decisions and deep consequences. But, God is good. He is the God of many chances. He gave me another chance to change and become an obedient child again. On time, I was invited to attend LBC, and after several Sundays, I came to the decision to become an official member. LBC has greatly helped me and my family especially when we are undergoing trials. They are always there to pray for me and lift me up. Presently, I am involved in the women's ministry and also serve as Church Treasurer. |

| I was born with a Baptist background, my mother was graduated in Baguio Bible School. So I have always been sorrounded with Christian people. But not until I was 20 years old that I gave my life completely to the Lord and was baptized in July 1992 in Singapore where I worked for 5 years. I was so homesick then but I have the Lord he comfort me and never left me. That's when I became very, very close to God. In 1997 I moved to Jacksonville Florida where my husband is and I found a church where I felt at home not long after I start going there I was called to the children's ministry until I moved to California in 2007, the same year I came back here in the Philippines and my prayer is that wherever I go that the Lord will use me , I just want to serve Him in anyway and I am Blessed that the LBC is just a walking distance away from where I live. My first visit I was very impressed by the Pastor's preaching it was well taught. Praise God I became a member almost two years ago now and Thank God the Lord use me to reach out others as always my prayer is that Lord use me. LBC is been a Blessing to me because its not only me who is going but my family. |
